Here is some random pictures from this summer. ENJOY!! We sure did. We had a Great but super busy summer!!!!

Matt's little helper!!

Beau went to go outside one time and saw this leaf bug and sat and watched it forever. It was pretty cool to watch, we could see it eating and everything.

My domestic moment!!! Matt took Beau for me on a boys outing, and he was the happiest kid ever... it was really cute and it was amazing how much help it was to me. Isn't he a great husband and dad!!!

~Matt and I went horseback riding one day and it was such a beautiful day. It was really good to get to go. Thanks Kathy!!

Beau thought he was pretty cool!!!
The second picture is of the moose that we watched for a while. Since the camera has no zoom it is pretty hard to see in the picture.

Matt even pulled out the ol cowboy boots!! What a stud!!

~We went on a hike one day and it was so beautiful. Beau Loved it and thanks to Denise and Josh he had quite the ride!!!

~We planned a DAY OF FUN, and went with James and Stephanie to Hill Air Force Museum then went out to Antelope Island. It was really cool to see all of it finally. Oh yeah and we started our day off by prepping their chicken to be eaten (if you get my drift). Quite the site to see... especially since I was the executioner.

So Beau was totally done and past the angry phase. He just wanted to run, sleep and eat... unfortunately for him this was only our first stop. I guess he wasn't quite ready for our day of fun!! But Matt and I thought it was really cool and amazing to see everything.

In honor of my Daddy, Beau and I posed for some pictures by the B52 Bomber.

Matt always dreamed of being in the Air Force, but then he screwed up his back and his dreams were destroyed much like the discs in his spine. (im so funny)
Steph and James helping us control the beast!!!
Then we went out to Antelope Island which was really cool too. Who knew all this stuff was out there??? Well I guess James and Stephanie did!!!!

This was a nice buck antelope but you wouldn't know it by the picture since this camera has NO zoom sadly enough.

Beau wasn't allowed out of the car cuz we knew he would try to chase the buffalo, so he had to find other forms of entertainment.

Matt taught us all the fine art of roping, now we're all going pro. :)

This is all on the ranch thing out there; it was pretty cool it had all original stuff to see in the houses and barns and stuff. It was really fun and Beau got to fun, so he wasn't as mad at us!!

Oregon Fun!!!

In August Jesse took us to Oregon to go fishing on the Columbia River. It was so much fun and something I have always wanted to go do. I love Oregon; I think it (well western Oregon) is absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect too. A huge thanks goes to Audrey and Mike for watching Beau for us, so we could go and to Jesse for taking us!!!! Thanks all!!!! The drive was long and made longer on the way home by wrong turns, but it was all worth it. :)

The first day was a little slow at first, but was a beautiful day and made it so we could take lots of pictures and see the ginormous ships going up the river. Unfortunately I only took our little camera with no zoom, so this ship looks tiny compared to what it really looked like.

Jessica and I got to wear the sweetest outfits ever and made me feel like I was the real thing!! :) It was fun to have her there, but she was only there the first day.

Jessica reeling in the first fish... well the first legal fish. Matt and Jesse each caught one the size of the bait we were using; it was hilarious.

My photo skillz are much less than amazing especially on a moving boat!!

It was a lot of fun reeling them in, they were way bigger than any other fish I've ever caught.

Two of Matt's fish. At first I was teasing him because my fish was bigger... but it all came back to get me later on.

Watch out Jessica could actually aim... I on the other hand merely just tenderized the poor little guy.

YUMMY!!!! :)

We maxed out even though it started out slow and it was soooooo much fun, but I must say the COOLEST thing ever was that we saw a little dolphin (well actually it was a porpoise but I'm still gonna call it a dolphin) swimming near us. I love dolphins but have never seen a wild one and it was so cool. Another funny thing was watching the pelicans dive under the water for fish. Matt was bringing in a huge fish one time and this pelican was flying above him forever thinking over whether or not it was edible. We totally could have poked it with the fishing pole it was so close.
After we cleaned them up we went back to the hotel, then Jesse took Jessica back to Portland, so Matt and I just hung out.

This is the view from our room. It was amazing!!! This bridge goes on forever this only shows a tiny bit of it, and what kills me is that it crosses the river even though the river is so huge it looks like the ocean to me!!!!

This is day two and Matt now gets to wear the "I'm a real fisherman pants" This day was totally awesome!!! We maxed out our tags and the guides tag in 1 1/2 hours. It was so cool and crazy. There were times we had two fish on the lines and one still laying in the boat cause we were catching them so fast. It was a total rush and tons of fun. Hence no pics :)

The fish we caught on day two. The whole trip was so much fun and we really appreciate Jesse for taking us. It was something I have always wanted to do.
The one thing that made me sad was that we were in the home town of my roommate from college that I miss so bad and I didn't get to see her because my phone got broken and I lost her number. I was heart broken, but afterward I got to talk to her and she was actually fishing in Alaska at the time which made me feel way better, but I was still sad I was that close and didn't get to see her!!!
