Weekend Fun

So it took forever but I finally got our pictures off the laptop and onto the computer. YEA!!! This is going to be super long, sorry.

Several weekends ago ( i think 8/23) Matt's grandma was in town so we spent some time with her and also went boating with Danny, Ryan, Cristina, Teague, Matt's little sister and her boyfriend. Teague fell asleep in his body bag... what a trooper. Here are some pics.








I have been talking about going camping for about two years and finally in May we decided Labor day would be the weekend. But don't worry, I get to talk about it for another year at least because I didn't know where to go and then we ran out of time to reserve a site. Sorry Danny. We still managed to salvage the holiday with a sweet hike, a yummy home grilled hamburger, games, shooting, and a nap. The hike was absolutely beautiful. We even got to see a big bull moose that apparently was attacking people. It tried to attack us but Matt pulled out the ol' Crocodile Dundee move and he backed off. :) We must be like a sedative for Teague cuz he crashed again. Beau loved the hike more than I thought possible. He kicked, squealed, and laughed the entire time. Then the greatest thing in the world happened... he slept all night long for the first night EVER!!! I love hikes.

Beau actually did really well the gun shots didn't even phase him. I attribute that to going shooting when I was over 8 month pregnant and many other times.

The next weekend was Eli's baby blessing, but I forgot to get the ol camera out like usual. He is almost as big as Beau. He is such a big boy, and his cheeks are like oranges. I love them. I am going to have to send her the bigger clothes and have her pass them down when he grows out of them, cuz Beau isn't growing all that fast. :)
Then Matt's Grandparents were in town again for his Grandpa's Scoliosis Convention. It has been great getting to see them so often. Beau loves when his great Grandpa makes his Daffy Duck noises. He just laughs and laughs. I forgot the camera again with the stroller. My brain has been on overload lately. We get to see them again at Thanksgiving. They bought us tickets to go to AZ and see all the family. We are way excited and super grateful. We wouldn't be able to go otherwise. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!!
Then i went to a baby shower for a friend I haven't seen in forever. It was good to see them again.
The beginning of this week Matt went on a "Business Trip" ha ha to Flaming Gorge, so I took off and went to my sister's and my parents. It was lots of fun. We were going to pick 8 1/2 bushel of peaches with two babies, but after one we decided they weren't quite ready... and i don't mean the babies. So much for me trying to be domestic. HA HA!!!
Well Beau just woke up, so I will have to put the other pictures up later. He isn't conducive to doing.... well anything!!!!!

Great News

Just wanted to let everyone know that grandkids 12 and 13 will be added to our family in Jan and Feb of next year. YEA!!!! And even better... I'm not having either of them!!! Congrats Shan & Cody and Emily & Trav!!! Travis, I hope Buzz and lucky #13 go well together, but being your child it couldn't be a more perfect match! I'm so excited guys... hope all is going well.

Wow look at me go; two days in a row!! I just thought I would add a few more pics of Beau. He is my first, so I am allowed to go overboard on taking pictures. I just think he is so funny.

Beau thinks he is pretty cool when he sits up, although his way of laying down to play with a toy is to face flop or flop backwards. I guess whatever works for ya. He also discovered the hardwood floor is pretty cool to slap.

He loves to play with and especially eat paper, so when I say my son ate my bills... I'm not lying.

Tribute to Daddy

A special thanks to my Dad aka Mr. fix it!! He has helped me fix the disposal, the AC unit, garage door opener, and much much more, currently we are working on the doorbell and the dryer. All over the phone. THANKS DAD. we love you!

Wow the last few weeks have been very busy, so here is an update.

~On Aug. 5th my nephew spencer stayed with us for a few days, and I think Beau totally knew. He was soooo excited. he loves kids and was acting pretty crazy for a while.

~That Fri we went to my friend I haven't seen from high school's reception.

~Sat. Matt started an ongoing war of water fights with our neighbors after he soaked the girls then drenching their mom. (she did deserve it though since she threw water in his face from a foot away, never trust a woman)

~Then we went and got a new tv and stand after we sold our souls on KSL. gotta love KSL. We didn't want Beau to pull the dvd stands over so why not just get a whole new everything, right... oh well it opens the room up a ton. Matt must have drugged me cuz he even talked me into letting him upgrade our cable.

~Of course I have been watching my fair share of the olympics. I have always loved the olympics, and now I get to plop my butt down and watch them with the excuse of "I'm feeding Beau." :)

~Then last Mon. we had a BBQ with the neighbors and on Tues my sister Lynette and her kids came to play for a few days. Which was so much fun. Here are some pics from our time at the water park near my house that I have never been too. oops. Eli wasn't quite sure about it, but Beau loved every minute of it; go play in the water, go eat crackers, go play in the water, eat crackers. Who doesn't love that?

~Then on Sat. we got to go spend the day with our friends for their wedding. Congrats Ben and Debs! It was a really good day and we are way excited for them, but of course we left the camera home.

Well that about sums it up. gotta love busy fun weeks!!! This week Matt's grandma is in town, so we get to go spend some time with her. That will be a lot of fun too!
