My Big Helper

So this last week and weekend was one with a few projects. We ended up getting a new bed and when I was moving the boxes into our room and setting it up I had quite the helper. I went to carry them in and Beau immediately started trying to pull it. After a bit he moved to the back and started pushing it. He was grunting and laughing thinking he was the strongest man ever. Needless to say it took me way longer than it would have but it was quite hilarious. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures, but I did get some pictures of our wonderful sleeping arrangements. We sold our bed and frame on Saturday and our bed came on Monday, so we got to sleep on our couch cushions for two nights. We tried our air mattress but the air leaked out in like the first half hour. Saddly I slept just as good on the couch cushions as on our old bed. :) Luckily we love our new bed!!!! Anyways Beau loved playing on the pile we called a bed for two nights, and climbing on the couch to watch tv like a big boy. Just his size. While the bed was out of the way we put some pictures up and Beau, being the vain little boy that he is, would point to his and get a big smile everytime he would go in our room.

Another project was rearranging our front flower bed! I have HATED it since the day we moved in and finally we decided on some way to make it look a little better. And best of all it was completely free!!! I got a lot done while Beau was napping but he "helped" me for a while on Friday and then again on Saturday. It is so funny to watch him... he thinks stuff out then goes to work and acts like he is just the man then he gets all proud of himself.... He really is his dad's clone. ;) Just Kidding!!!!

After he decided to pick all the flowers Matt took him inside so he was safe!!! :)

When that was done we went to put some stuff in his room. Here again the "biggest helper" made his move. I am so lucky to have such hard working boys!!!!

After I fed him lunch on Friday I couldn't find him until I went in the front room and saw him just sitting here chillin. By the time I got the camera he was ready to get off.

Now doesn't that look comfy!!

I thought I would finally put a video of this on because it is so funny. For quite awhile Beau has been taking off to the pantry door whenever it is open to grab out his cereal. Before he used to just grab the cereal and say "more" until he got some, but now he just gets it himself. Once Matt put some on the tv stand and ever since whenever Beau gets some out he has to put them on the tv stand too. It cracks me up!! I have to sneak into the pantry if I ever need something. PS don't mind what is on the tv... it's "what not to wear" but it looks like something much worse!! Sorry

This is Beau's toy corner. I hate it!! It is out of control and he falls all the time because his toys are everywhere.

I finally got some pictures off Matt's phone. So here they are.

We went out to eat one night and I noticed that Matt and Beau were dressed the same. I thought it was pretty funny. Beau loves to wear Matt's glasses. I find him all the time trying to put them on.

We decided to teach him how to drive one day. It's about time he learn :) He got really into it as you can tell. He even grabbed the shifter and started trying to move it.

I love these pictures!! Matt did his hair and everything I always forget that part :) My favorite is the last one. He is such a TV head. When he wants to watch cartoons he grabs the remote, point it to the TV and says "oo" until I turn them on. It's pathetic I know.

This was when he had that freak incident that we had to spend the night at Primary Children's Hospital. It was horrible, but he was so stinkin cute in his hospital pjs. The poor little man had monitors all over him for like 16 hours. But at least he is ok, even though i will have to sell a kidney to pay for his hospital bills. jk

Beau loves food. Whenever he sees it or is hungry he says "MO" for more. It is really funny and if he likes it he says, "Mmmmm" "MO". He also likes to say "Doh" for dog. Anytime he sees one in a book or on TV he yells it and gets all excited. Even if sometimes it is really a cat. Gotta love him. He is growing up pretty fast!

A few weeks ago Wendi and I took a much needed trip to Las Vegas!!!! It was awesome and the weather was absolutely beautiful. We even got upgraded to a suite, so the room was huge. Matt deserves a special thanks for watching Beau and even taking a day off work. Beau loves his daddy and gets super bored of me, so I think he was glad to hangout with Dad for a few days. Thank you Matt!!! We had a ton of fun and left with a bunch of funny stories. Thanks Wendi!!!

You gotta love the Bellagio hotel. They have a ton of sweet stuff.

Bellagio Gardens

This is the sweetest chocolate fountain EVER!! The pictures don't do it justice cuz it went from the ceiling to the floor. It was so cool! Right after this a guy asked us if we wanted to go smoke pot.... LOUDLY right in the middle of the Bellagio with tons of people around... I didn't think we looked like the type, but apparently we did since we were the only ones fully dressed. Ya gotta love Vegas!!! We also got to witness a guy picking his nose two knuckles deep just walking with a group through the casino. Just diggin away. There are a lot of crazies out there; I love it!!

I kept telling my Mom that our only item of importance was to go to the "Thunder From Downunder" show. Sorry Mom we didn't make it this was all we got.

Don't mind me in the picture to the right, but this is just part of a mountain that the Winn Hotel has by their entrance. On the other side there is a lake and more mountain. It is really amazing what there hotels build. The Winn is also where I had the most amazing banana coconut smoothie ever. We wanted to go back before we left and get more, too bad that didn't work out.

Do you like the arm shadows in our pictures? I think they are funny!!

One night we went to "La Reve" at the Winn Hotel. Matt's Grandma told me that it means "The Dream"... makes more sense now :) It was really cool. We sat in the front row which was pretty neat; we were so close that I got winked at from one of the guys in the show cuz I gave him a thumbs up! I won't lie though I still think "O" is better but it was sold out. Next time :) The other picture is right before the volcano show at the Mirage. It was boring coming from the other one. Sad huh!

Unfortunately "what happens in Vegas" doesn't always stay there. HA HA. We made a little stop off at the InstaCare on the way home cuz we got strep or something. Nothing dirty... Wendi's nephew gave it to her the night before we left.
