Happy late 4th of July!!! As always we went to Oakley for the holiday and went to the parade, went boating (didn't take the camera as always), had a BBQ, and ended with the Oakley rodeo and fireworks. What a way to spend the 4th. Beau didn't have much fun at the parade, he takes after me and hates the heat. He also has a hard time with a lot of noise; unfortunately that is all it is when we are with my family. Matt's brother Danny kept getting attacked by my nieces and nephews. I think Kennedy has herself a little crush. We always love spending time with family and what a better excuse than celebrating a holiday. We are both so grateful for all those that made it possible for us to live in such a wonderful country.

About a month ago, Matt's Grandparents were able to come visit us from Phoenix, AZ. It was their first time seeing Beau. Grandma extended her flight at Christmas to be there when he was born, but he was a little stinker and came a few hours after she had to leave. I was really sad, so I was super excited they were able to make this trip before he was too much older. We had a great weekend and can't wait to see them again when they come in September.

More Beau Pics

Wow he has grown so fast. Where does all the time go?

Baby Beau

Beau Palmer Jackson joined us on December 29, 2007 at 9:35 pm. He was 7 lbs. 10 oz and 21.5" long with TONS of black hair. He changed our lives dramatically, but we're growing kinda fond of the little bugger, so he can stay.
Well after the tenth person asked me if I had a blog I decided to start one. I also thought it would be good to have one so our far away families could keep in touch. I am the worst about keeping in touch, so I hope this helps. :)
